Often, my weddings out at Hobbiton are with couples from overseas - and when I tell New Zealanders that I photograph weddings here, they’re surprised and don’t realise it’s even possible! Not only is it possible, but it’s a gorgeous location, whether you’ve seen the films or not!
I loved everything about Rowan and Caleb’s wedding. Rowan’s dress belonged to her Grandmother, and was also the dress her mother wore at her wedding. It survived a flood, and still cleaned up perfectly. The vintage veil from @vinkadesign was a perfect match. Her sister did her make up, and she had the team at @TheSampleRoom do her hair.
Rowan and Caleb are two of the most humble, kind and genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Just good people. Thank you for having me there to celebrate with you. Here are some of my favourites from their day.
